General provisions
PADI IDC Staff Instructor program is made to train instructors with the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer qualification to work at IDC courses. Being an experienced PADI instructor you have got an experience and knowledge which can be shared with the future PADI dive leaders. You exactly know that there is always something to learn. Having passed the IDC Staff Instructor course you will be able to evaluate a skill level of those who want to become a professional in diving and also you will enhance your experience and improve pedagogical skills.
Having successfully mastered the course you will get a card and a wall certificate confirming awarding the PADI IDC Staff Instructor qualification.
An instructor with the PADI IDC Staff Instructor qualification has the right:
- to teach a PADI Assistant Instructor course independently and issue a course certificate;
- to conduct a number of lessons within IDC course under direct guidance of a course- director;
- to control and evaluate the candidates to instructors and give then recommendations and advice.
The instructor with the PADI Staff Instructor qualification is a high professional level. A staff-instructor plays an important role in organizing and conducting IDC course, he may teach a PADI Assistant Instructor course and assist a course director at the courses of the instructors.
