General provisions
In order to get the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer qualification it is necessary to have a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer certificate and not less than 5 certificates of the instructor of the PADI Specialty Instructor special courses (Certificates for teaching Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project AWARE courses are not considered).
This requires:
- to prolong a membership as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor;
- to have not less than 5 certificates of the instructor in PADI Specialty Instructor special courses;
- to issue not less than 25 PADI certificates.
The candidates for awarding the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer qualification must fill in an appropriate application form, submit a photo and pay an entrance fee. All documents should be sent to PADI. If the application is approved, the instructor gets a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer certificate.
