General provisions
PADI Master Instructor qualification confirms that an instructor is a professional of the highest level. This qualification is considered to be one of the highest achievements of a PADI instructor and gives the right to train all courses for PADI drivers.
PADI Master Instructor qualification can be awarded to the instructor who:
- is a PADI member as an instructor not less than 2 years;
- has passed the course of cardiopulmonary resuscitation during last three years;
- has prolonged a membership as a PADI Medic First Aid Instructor;
- has prolonged a membership as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer;
- has prolonged a membership as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and attended 3 seminars for the instructors;
- has certified not less than 150 students of the PADI Open Water Diver level and higher and there must be the PADI Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistants Instructor among the issued certificates;
- teaches all range of PADI courses, supports the PADI system of training diving, issues PADI certificates, trains divers in accordance with the philosophy of PADI.
